Cristine Reyes is friends with Derek Ramsay even after their breakup, even bonding with each other in Hawaii when they had no shows.
She doesn’t regret their short-lived romance.
“At least we tried. So we tried.
She revealed discovering that they still have “unfinished businesses pa which are very personal” so they decided to end the relationship.
The actress cleared the name of her friend Ynna Asistio who was rumored to have caused her split with Derek.
So kawawa naman si Ynna,” she remarked.
Whether she and Derek will reconcile or not, only time can tell, but they will be reunited in the movie “My Trophy Wife” by Elwood Perez.
Cristine is cast in “When The Love Is Gone” directed by Andoy Ranay. It is Viva Films’ offering for its 32nd year anniversary. A remake of Danny Zialcita’s “Nagalit Ang Buwan Sa Haba Ng Gabi” in the early 80′s,” it pairs her with Gabby Concepcion who’s 25 years older than her. And they play lovers in the movie.
“Sobrang masayang ka-trabaho ni Gabby. Noong una nahihiya ako pero after mga ilang shootings okay na,” she expressed. Was she shy because of their age differences?
“No not the age. I was starstruck because he is Gabby Concepcion ‘di ba? Isang big star tapos partner ko pa. Nakakakaba and at the same time si Gabby Concepcion ang kaharap ko,” she replied.
Other than the drama, moviegoers should watch out for their steamy love scenes!
Opening in theaters nationwide on Nov. 27, “When The Love Is Gone” also features Andi Eigenmann, Jake Cuenca and Alice Dixon.
